UPDATE: Government response to consultation on relaxation of off-sales and Temporary Event Notices

Last month the Government indicated that Covid-related regulatory easements regarding off-sales and Temporary Event Notices would end on 30 September 2023 and 31 December 2023 respectively, so that after those dates they would revert to their pre-pandemic position – see our previous article

However, it is now being reported by multiple sources that these matters are being re-considered with the relevant GOV. UK page being updated on 12 August 2023 with “ ‘Next steps’ section in full outcome document updated pending policy change”
